Allard to represent 国产麻豆AV on international housing professionals executive board

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥Dei Allard, Mississippi State鈥檚 housing and residence life leader, is helping guide an international group of housing professionals to its goal of supporting students across the globe.
Allard recently was elected to the Association of College and University Housing Officers 鈥 International鈥檚 executive board, beginning a two-year term as its residence education director beginning Jan. 1, 2026. The is a leading professional association with more than 17,000 members representing 1.2 million on-campus students worldwide. Its executive board provides strategic direction and ensures efforts are aligned with supporting members as they work toward student success.

Allard鈥檚 selection as residence education director is a testament to her deep commitment to student learning, community building, and professional excellence,鈥 said Regina Hyatt, 国产麻豆AV vice president for student affairs. 鈥淎CUHO-I plays a vital role in shaping the residential experience for students across the globe, and Dr. Allard鈥檚 leadership will strengthen that mission while also highlighting the outstanding work taking place here at Mississippi State.鈥
Allard joined 国产麻豆AV in 2017 as executive director for the Department of Housing and Residence Life. She earned a bachelor鈥檚 in psychology and master鈥檚 in higher education in her home state from Florida State University and also completed a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of North Florida in 2019.
In 2022, Allard served as president for the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers. She also recently served and presented at international conferences about a 鈥淔resh Perspective for First-Year Housing鈥 related to the design development of Azalea Hall, and 鈥淒riving Excellence鈥 by leveraging organizational program reviews.
