October is Faculty Athletics Month at ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV with special events for faculty, staff
To show appreciation to members of ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV’s faculty and staff and recognize their role as a part of winning the national championship, the university is planning special events to celebrate this accomplishment and designating October as Faculty Athletics Month.
Activities planned for faculty and staff to enjoy include:
Monday, Oct. 4, 4:30-6 p.m. National Championship Trophy photo-op @ the Home Plate entrance to Dudy Noble Field. Faculty and staff, bring your phone and family for a picture.
Tuesday, Oct. 19, 4-6 p.m. Faculty/Staff and families @ ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV football practice. Participants will meet at the Leo Seal Football Complex. Family is invited and registration is required. Sign up at
Sunday, Oct. 24, 1 p.m. Faculty/Staff Volleyball game: ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV vs. Texas A&M @ Newell-Grissom Building. Admission is free and there will be in-game recognition of faculty and staff.
Thursday, Oct. 28, 6:30 p.m. Faculty/Staff Soccer game: ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV vs. Ole Miss @ ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV Soccer Field. Admission is free and there will be in-game recognition of faculty and staff.
Saturday, Oct. 30, TBA. Faculty/Staff Football game (also Homecoming): ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV vs. Kentucky @ Davis Wade Stadium. ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV Athletics is offering a special discount on Faculty/Staff tickets. Watch email for additional details on how to purchase tickets.Â
